Transport Information Web Site
By Taxi: A taxi takes around 50 minutes depending on traffic. the cost is usually between 38 and 50 € (depends on the time of the day and traffic). Taxis normally accept credit cards but most prefer cash. It is normal to leave a small tip to the taxi driver.
By Metro: The stop closest to the apartments is "Syngrou - Fix". The stop is at the old site of the Fix beer brewery; one of the oldest beers in Greece; the building is now a museum. The metro takes approximately 1 hour. You can see a map of the Athens metropolitan area metro system on the right. Metro Line 3 (the blue line) connects the airport to the city centre (Syntagma Square). From there you need to change to Metro Line 2 (the red line), direction "ELLINIKO", and disembark at "Syngrou - Fix". From there you either walk 5-6 minutes to Dimitrakopoulou 85-87 or take a taxi from the taxi station in front of the metro. Trains run every 30 minutes, 7 days a week from 6:30 am to 11:30 pm. One way tickets cost €10 (€5 for children, teenagers, over 65).
